Biography
Dr Cerro Chiang received her medical degree from Universidad Peruana Cayetano Heredia in Lima Peru. She finished her Internal Medicine residency at UT Southwestern in Dallas, TX.
She completed a fellowship in Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles, CA. During her fellowship, she was selected Chief Fellow among her peers and spent an additional year doing research and sub specializing in Interstitial Lung Disease (ILD). During this time, she also pursued a masters degree in clinical research (MSCR) and the University of California in Los Angeles before joining Yale in 2023.
Her main research and clinical focus is in interstitial lung diseases, particularly those associated with connective tissue diseases and rheumatologic conditions.
