Biography
Jong Woo Lee, PhD is a Research Scientist at the Yale Cancer Center and Yale University School of Medicine. He has expertise on numerous innovative techniques covering cancer biology, pharmacology, metabolism and in vivo preclinical evaluation of therapeutics including targeted therapy and immuno-oncology. His research has mainly been focusing on translational cancer research by demonstrated combinational therapeutics utilizing mitosis (AURKA)/cell cycle checkpoint (WEE1) inhibition in TP53-mutated/HPV-negative head/neck cancer, and MEK/immune checkpoint (PD-1/PD-L1) inhibition in KRAS-mutated non-small cell lung cancer to pursue development of novel mechanisms and innovative therapeutics approach to treat these devastating diseases.
