Biography
After medical school, I completed residency in Internal Medicine at Yale New Haven Hospital. Before pursuing interventional cardiology as originally envisioned, I moved to Melbourne, Australia, where I did graduate research in intravascular optical coherence tomography and coronary blood flow simulation to elucidate mechanisms of atherosclerosis and stent complications. I then undertook research fellowships at MGH in the Cardiac Laboratory for Integrative Physiology and Imaging and at the Cardiovascular Imaging Research Center. During this time my clinical and research interests evolved and broadened toward more non-invasive techniques inside and outside of the cardiovascular system.
